From version 8.0F2 onwards, +Hardware, including online help, is always automatically installed along with the base package (TrainController Gold, Silver Bronze, or TrainProgrammer). Therefore, if, for example, TrainController version 8.0F2 or later is installed on your computer, you can automatically access the +Hardware help via the TrainController help menu.
Ab Version 8.0F2 wird +Hardware samt Online-Hilfe immer zusammen mit dem Basispaket (TrainController Gold, Silver Bronze oder TrainProgrammer) automatisch installiert. Wenn also z.B. TrainController ab Version 8.0F2 auf Ihrem Rechner installiert ist, so können Sie über das Hilfe-Menü von TrainController automatisch auch auf die Hilfe von +Hardware zugreifen.

In order to be able to use a subsequent update of +Hardware after installing the latest TrainController/TrainProgrammer base package, only the latest version of +Hardware needs to be installed, but not the base package itself.

When a new update for TrainController/TrainProgrammer is released, it always includes the latest version of +Hardware. +Hardware no longer needs to be installed separately. While it won't hurt to do so, it won't do any good either. It simply doesn't matter.

+Hardware

+Hardware™ is an extension for TrainController™ and TrainProgrammer™.

Download?

+Hardware™ cannot be downloaded separately. +Hardware™ is already built into the existing TrainController™ and TrainProgrammer™ and only needs to be activated with a license key before use.

+Hardware 11

In TrainController 11, the functions included in +Hardware 10 were integrated into the basic software.

+Hardware 10

Since version 10 there has been from Mr. Freiwald regarding +Hardware this statement:

In TrainController 10, the functions included in +Hardware 9 were integrated into the basic software.

In addition to the systems mentioned above, +Hardware™ 10 allows the use of the following digital systems:

  • Uhlenbrock Intellibox 2neo
  • Uhlenbrock USB and WLAN Interface
  • Tams mc²
  • Lodi-S88-Commander LX (for occupancy notification)

Furthermore, +Hardware™ 10 enables the use of special functions from other systems already mentioned here, which are not available without installing +Hardware™ 10. These include, among others, the following functions:

  • Switching accessory aspects via so-called "DCC extended Accessories"
  • Roco Z21 and compatible systems: Lokfunctios F29 bis F31
  • Roco Z21 and compatible systems: more then 32000 Lokfunctions over so-called "Binary States"
  • Roco Z21 and compatible systems: Monitoring and control of boosters on the CAN bus (including boosters with two power stages)
  • LocoNet over TCP
  • Lenz turntable
  • Train identification can be used for coupling or queuing in a block with only one occupancy detector.
  • Stärz ZS2+: Lokfunctions F17 bis F32

Detailed information can be found on the +Hardware page.

+Hardware 9

Since version 9 there has been from Mr. Freiwald regarding +Hardware this statement:

Version 9 includes the features of +Hardware 8.

With +Hardware 9, new digital systems or new functions of digital systems can be used, which only appeared after the last major update of the Railroad & Co. software and therefore could not yet be included in the current version of the Railroad & Co. software.

+Hardware 8

+Hardware unlocks additional features in TrainController version 8.0F1 that were not available before version 8.0F1. Existing features are not affected by +Hardware.

Here's some additional information from the forum:

From version 8.0F2 onwards, +Hardware, including online help, is always automatically installed along with the base package (TrainController Gold, Silver Bronze, or TrainProgrammer). Therefore, if, for example, TrainController version 8.0F2 or later is installed on your computer, you can automatically access the +Hardware help via the TrainController help menu.

+Hardware 7

+Hardware is not available for version 7. This was only introduced from version 8 onwards.
