Pause between switches
Does the setting "Pause between switches" under "Set up digital system" apply to all switch commands that TC sends to the central unit? Even if two switch routes are requested at the same time? So are all switch commands from TC serialized to this pause?

Would that mean:
- that with a setting of 200 ms
- and two routes requested at the same time
- with 5 switches each (so 10 switches in total),
- in any case 10 * 200 ms will pass,
until both switch routes are fully switched?
Break and switching times
A clear statement was made on this topic in this post:
- A pause between switches of Y ms ensures that there is always a pause of at least Y ms between commands sent to two different switch addresses.
Settings of a switch route
Model railroader "nakott" asks in this context:
What about the X ms that is displayed in the settings for a switch route under "Pause between switches".
- Are these X ms still to be added?
Pause between switching commands
No. A pause between switches of Y ms set for a route ensures that a pause of at least Y ms is always observed between the commands sent to two different switches of the same route.
Beim Schalten einer Weichenstraße werden also die einzelnen Weichen mit einem Abstand geschaltet, der sich aus dem Maximum von X und Y ergibt.
Weichen und Weichenadressen
Achten Sie auch auf den feinen Unterschied zwischen Weichen und Weichenadressen! Wird also im Rahmen einer Weichenstraße eine Weiche mit zwei Adressen geschaltet (DKW):
- so werden zwischen der ersten und zweiten Adresse dieser einen Weiche nur X ms eingefügt.
- Y bleibt hier unberücksichtigt, da dies ja die Pause zwischen verschiedenen Weichen bezeichnet.
